Fruit Parfait with Yogurt and Granola
A fruit parfait with yogurt, granola and fresh fruit makes a healthy breakfast, snack or dessert that will have your kids asking for more! This fruit parfait recipe is quick to make and versatile, so it’s easy to adapt to whatever fresh fruit you have on hand.
You guys, my kids LOVE berries and yogurt. When they are sick, I hate to admit this, but, there are two things they want. It’s either a McDonald’s fruit parfait or Parmesan Noodles…I cringe at the fact they want McDonald’s, but, it’s one of the “healthier” things on the menu. If it’s what kids the kids to eat when they haven’t nibbled on much for a few days, I’ll cave in.
On mornings that they aren’t sick and need a quick bite to eat, to feed all three little ones at the same time, I’ll grab yogurt and some fruit and a fruit parfait is ready to go in under 3 minutes! I also try and keep a few on hand during the week as a quick snack to grab. You can even top it with our homemade granola — you really need to try the granola too!
Bubby LOVES LOVES LOVES his fruit parfaits. He typically has one a day — for either breakfast or lunch. He calls it ice cream…I call it a WIN for Momma! I’m also going to try and show more pictures of my family enjoying Momma’s recipes — because every recipe is Kid Tested and Husband Approved!
