For the dough: Mix all the ingredients, knead well, then leave to rise near a heat source.
For the filling: Mix the butter well with the sugar until it becomes a foam and then add the walnuts. The composition will not be too thick, so you should not be afraid of the result.
After the dough has risen, divide it into 2 equal parts.
Using a rolling pin, spread a sheet like a pie, not very thin, and add half of the cream and then roll everything, like an strudel. After we have made the "roll" we cut, with a very sharp knife, 5 cm pieces, as if the dessert had already been baked.
We repeat the procedure with the second sheet.
Meanwhile, prepare the oven and the tray lined with baking paper. We put a piece of dessert in the tray, in the "legs", so that we can see the filling. Leave a distance of 5 cm between the pieces. Let them rise in the pan for another 15 minutes and then put them in the hot oven.
For the syrup: Mix the milk well with the sugar until it melts and then add the desired essence.
When the pieces of dough have started to brown, remove the tray and put homogeneous syrup over each "piece" separately. I use a silicone brush. Then put the tray back in the oven for another 10-15 minutes (depending on the oven).
